Biography

Liu Guodong, Attending Physician, MD, Postdoctoral Fellow in the United States, works in the Department of Ophthalmology at Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital. He has received honorary titles including “Science and Technology Newcomer” and “Outstanding Communist Party Member” from the Tenth People's Hospital. As first author, he has published 15 SCI-indexed papers; he has led one Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one Youth Program of the Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission.

Areas of Expertise: Oculoplastic surgery including eye bag removal, double eyelid surgery, eyelid space-occupying lesions, and eyelid malformation correction; orbital diseases including orbital fractures, orbital space-occupying lesions, exophthalmos associated with thyroid dysfunction, and eyelid retraction.
